- Board of Regents Formally Approves Consolidation Of Macon State College and Middle Georgia College
- The January 10 event is free and open to the public.
- Programs are planned for the Macon and Cochran campuses.
- The Harold F. Tipton Memorial Scholarship is named for the late information security industry pioneer.
- Students will use the new learning management system for spring semester classes.
- The college will reopen on January 2.
- The four institutions, including Middle Georgia State College, will have new missions, academic programs and direction.
- The ceremony will be held at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, in the gymnasium of the Macon Campus.
- The project will, among other things, advance research into ways of enhancing agricultural practices and production.
- Qualified Gwinnett Tech grads will soon be able to transfer seamlessly to Macon State's IT program.
- In voting that took place over two days, nearly 91 percent of students who participated were in favor of the image ultimately chosen.
- The $21.5 million center will be located on the north side of the campus lake near the student residential community.
- The bus, designed to provide an interactive experience showing C-SPAN's unique coverage of public affairs, will be on campus December 6.
- Parents are invited to bring their children to have breakfast and get their photos taken with Santa Claus on Dec. 1.
- The video titles include Growing Up with a Stutter, Jay s Hope for Kids with Cancer and 'For the Love of Macon.'
- The concert is Tuesday, Dec. 4, at First Presbyterian Church in Macon.
